The touch screen controls aren’t usable by second use of the device. This is my second time owning one after having one working for a few years. Ill be returning this for replacement once and hope this resolves.

5 Jug of the Air Fryers
Posted by Michael Robinson on Dec 3rd 2024
Fantastic machine. This is about my 7 th Air Fryer since the original Nuwave. I have goods ones and not so good. This is the best by far. I love the lighted over and it is so easy to use and clean. I bake with it, cook with it, toast with it. I can cook a full meal. I’d buy it again in a second.

4 A versatile countertop companion
Posted by Audrey Matthews on Nov 25th 2024
The Bella Pro Series 12.6Qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer Pizza Oven with Rotisserie is a modern looking jack of all culinary trades with 10 different settings. This stainless steel oven with rounded edges, and capped with a black top, looks classy and has quite a small footprint that fits well in any kitchen. Set-up is straightforward; connect it to a wall and start cooking. I like the light on the inside to better see the cooking progress. It comes equipped with all the accessories needed to get you started. For air frying there are 2 ‘crisping’ racks. For rotisserie and roast, there’s a rotisserie bar complete with meat tines and a rotisserie handle. For pizza, there’s a pizza pan that fits up to a 10-inch pizza. For baking there’s a baking sheet that also serves as a drip pan when cooking food that sheds grease. Each setting has a default time and temperature that can be easily adjusted. My first trial was some beef empanadas. The instructions on the box said to air fry them for best results which I did. I placed 6 of them on a ‘crisping’ rack and followed the instructions and a few minutes later I was enjoying some delicious empanadas. The result was great: they were crispy and very hot on the inside. The oven was noisy but not more than any other air fryers I’ve owned previously. The next day, I went for a pizza bought fresh from my neighborhood market. It was bought from the cold section, not frozen. I used the pizza pan at the default setting of 360 degrees for 8 minutes. It came out close to perfect; the crust was crisp, lightly burned in places and in the center dough was firm and drowning in melting cheese. That same day, I broiled a salmon to perfection and I was more and more impressed. A few days later, I tried boiling a steak but for some reason, it didn’t come out right. Part of the meat was undercooked while the other part was burned and overcooked. The meat seemed to dry up quickly. With the help of my wife, I tried a rotisserie chicken. The rotisserie bar held the chicken very well and after an hour of cooking, the results were impressive. The inside was well cooked and it didn’t dry up; the juices were plentiful. However, the issue I have with this oven is its size. At 12.6Qt., it is on the medium size. I had difficulty finding a whole chicken small enough to fit in. Even with the pizza, it’s limited to 10 inches which means a medium sized 12-inch pizza will not fit. And my other issue is the absence of a toast setting. Besides that, it’s been a reliable performer. The reheat setting came in handy with some left over chicken nuggets. I tried the Keep Warm setting with French fries and it didn’t disappoint. I also baked some frozen patties using the recommended setting and it passed the test. I haven't had the opportunity to use the dehydrate function yet, however I’m quite happy with the Bella Pro Series 12.6Qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer Pizza Oven with Rotisserie. The touchscreen might intimidate older or technologically challenged users, but it’s easy to use and responsive. The shiny control screen attracts fingerprint smudges but can be cleaned easily. It is not perfect but its overall performance is worth a try.

4 large volume =/= large capacity, lots of options!
Posted by Kathleen Murray on Nov 14th 2024
The "Air Fryer" market is an ever saturated one and for my household just about every 2 years we have changed out our countertop air fryer with another comparable model. With teenagers and their friends beelining for it over the conventional over, you can only keep it in tip-top shape for so long even with wiping down thoroughly after each use (that you're aware of...oh those lovely kids). We stick in the ~$100-$150 range so after 24-36 months they've more than served their purpose. The 12.6 qt. bella PRO is by far the largest capacity unit we have had and while I can assure you it is massive, the whole "volume" element of what can fit in it is more likened to fitting a rotisserie chicken and the like inside versus a large pizza. This unit is great for items that are squarely sized and large versus having a single dimension that is large and another that is not, i.e. pizza which is flat and round. Sure, you can perfectly fit up to a ~10" pizza for one, but if you are wanting to do anything other than that you are going to have to do it a slice at a time, meaning 3 on each level. And doing that means you have to move the slices around to get even results on each slice. Not the end of the world, but it is the only reason I'm deducting a star so I am pointing it out straight out of the gate to get it out of the way. Having said that, we ordered pizza (large NYC style that is over-sized slice = foldable) this past weekend and it was *perfect* for doing a single slice re-heat the next day. The large capacity fit the large slice like a glove where previous air fryers struggled to accommodate. Hit the PIZZA button which defaults to 8 minutes (most likely as it thinks you're doing a from scratch bake) so I lowered it down to 4 minutes, perfectly reheated slice. ::chefs kiss:: The interface itself isn't the fanciest, but it gets the job done. The buttons are simple and touch sensitive, there are no physical buttons that depress or have any sort of crevices for food, grease, or the like to get into. It's a completely sealed touch area with a single display that handles the temperature and time depending on what button(s) you hit. Along with the unit itself, you get a set of rotisserie spears and a rob for inserting through your chicken of choice, and the retriever handle to reach in and pull it all out. There are two mesh trays, a solid pizza insert, and a solid bottom catch tray to help with cleaning. Worth mentioning, I have always wrapped the bottom catch tray with aluminum foil to make cleaning that much easier. Of the 10 settings on the bella Pro we have used 7 and each did what we wanted. Now, I didn't have all the time in the world to do side-by-side comparison of something like bacon on the BACON setting *and* again on the BAKE or AIR FRYER setting, but I'm sure the folks at bella did their bit of R&D to ensure you're getting the best result for the given selection. Within each setting there is a range of temp/time you can adjust to and these are completely outlined in the included manual. Aside from the aforementioned pizza reheat I left the temp/time settings alone and each outcome was completely fine, though I wasn't shooting for any sort of Michelin star outcome. Just some basic cookies, reheats, bacon for breakfast, etc. Recommended for anyone who wants a quality product that does what it says it'll do, albeit has some *slight* limits in regards to capacity for one of the top billed stars on the marque (I'm looking at you, pizza). But if you are fine with the ~10" limit (there's some great smaller store bought options in this size range, or if you make your own on the regular even better!) and/or large slice reheat aspect of it, this unit really has little if any downside.

5 Compact and versatile
Posted by Walter Miller on Nov 12th 2024
This oven is rather compact and has a wealth of functionality. It comes well packaged and is rather heavy for the size and seems well made. The sticker on the front showcases all of the button functions and is labeled to remove before use. The only issue is that the glue used is very sticky and it was difficult to get the residue removed. Other than that minor item, getting the oven up and running is super easy. It comes with an adjustable height shelf, two drip pans and a small pizza pan. The oven has a large capacity for the size, but keep in mind that the maximum pizza size is 10". All there is to do to cook a pizza is set the preheat and place the pizza in when ready. The front has a large see through door that allows you to keep a watch on the food as it is cooking. Pizza cooks crisp and evenly. You can cook directly on the drip pan if you prefer very crispy crust. Chicken cooks very well also with the included rotisserie attachment. You simply place the middle bar through the food to be cooked, slide it in the side notches and you can watch it rotate and cook. I like that it takes up very little room and you can cook a complete meal with ease.

5 VERY HAPPY WITH THIS AIR FRYER
Posted by Lance Monroe on Nov 11th 2024
So we already had a 6qt. Air Fryer and were thinking about trading up to a 8qt or 9qt but then we saw this 12qt Air Fryer and how compact it is for being 12 quarts and the black and stainless steel matched our kitchen perfectly so we figured we'd give it a try and boy oh boy we are sure glad we did. Firstly the thing is built solidly. It give the impression it will give many years of use. Secondly the compactness is outstanding (it is actually a tad bit narrower than our toaster oven and fits in its place under the kitchen cabinets. Thirdly having a nice door that opens instead of a bucket drawer that pulls out is so much more convenient. Fourthly is is so easy and simple to use. Fifthly it cleans up in a snap (we used to use disposable parchment paper inserts in our old Air Fryer but with this new one none of that is needed). Sixthly it works quickly and works well, especially for chicken and veal. Seventhly the dehydrator works great and it is the first time we've had that option so we are exploring all of those possibilities (especially steak strips which now make an outstanding snack in a pinch and our grandson loves them). The price is great as well, not cheap but less than a lot of others that don't look as good, don't have as much capacity, and don't work as well. Eighthly the expanded capacity made it a breeze to cook a large portion whole dinner all at once for 4 people. Ninthly the rotisserie works perfect with whole chickens and the machine defrosts in a flash. And Tenthly and sadly the only ding in this review is about the pizza: as self proclaimed pizza aficionados we were looking forward to being able to make personal size pizzas but alas it does not seem to make pizza very well, most likely perhaps because it doesn't get hot enough fast enough a head of time (so we'll stick with our stone plate in the oven pizzas). All in all this is an excellent product that we are very pleased with and happy we got it and recommend it to our friends and loved ones.

3 Good for specific functions- not as an air fryer
Posted by Marcus Fox on Nov 6th 2024
The Bella Pro 12.6 touch screen air fryer pizza oven with rotisserie is more of a great small Pizza oven and Rotisserie than being an air fryer. if your main function is just air frying fries, chicken wings, or vegetables. then there are better options out there. First Impressions: Unpacking the air fryer is simple but it has a sticker on the screen that is very hard to remove cleanly. this was a pain to remove. a removable sticker shouldn't leave glue and paper marks all over the screen. that was a huge miss and turn off. the trays aren't stable when you put them in. it looks like the tracks are a bit wider than the trays themselves so you have to put them really carefully and have the weight distributed evenly so they stay in place. air frying: - I put some fries in 2 trays, stuck them inside and used the easy touch screen to bake them. the first try the top tray came out almost dry but the bottom layer was still uncoocked. on the second try i switched the trays position halfway through and both trays came out very good. the max capacity for t he air fryer in terms of fries is a portion enough for 2 people or what you get from 2 large fries from McDonalds. so the 12.6 quart isn't accurate in anyway if you are thinking of doing one fry for the whole family in one go. Pizza oven: this works for 10 inch pizaas, it comes with one pizza tray so you have to use the square trays for your second one unless you are making only one and you have to switch the trays mid bake to get the best reults. Rotisserie chicken: this is where this thing shines: it fits almost all size chickens and it easy to set and forget. just remember to keep a closed tray underneath to collect any fat or liquid dripping during rotisserie. am conflicted about this one. on one hand I can utilize it for chicken and some small meal sides but on the other, I can't really use it for big portions in one go. i felt that the 12.6 quart was misleading. if I knew its capacity going in, I wouldn't have gotten it.

1 I Don't Know Who Would Benefit From Owning This
Posted by Yvonne Lamb on Nov 5th 2024
Bella Air Fryer The design of this Bella Touchscreen Air Fryer begs the question of who this device could ever have been developed for. This device is, indeed, a cooking device that uses circulated hot air to allow food to be cooked quickly and evenly. But Bella has included a lot of bells and whistles and claims that make this more of a mess than a necessity. (1)
