    Little Shark Cleaner

Posted by Timothy Webb on Nov 14th 2024

Little Shark this is a portable mean cleaning machine. I don't own any other carpet cleaner i was looking into getting one and this has the best review. This is light wieght small so you can take this and use it anywhere. This has a lot of sucking power and a good spray on it. This box comes with 2 cleaning products one you disolve in the water tank and the other you use in the dry tank for a deeper clean. This also has to attchment handles 1 is for a pet cleaner to get the nasty leaving from your pet and the other is Bristle tool. Now thats the one i used i have cushoin dinning room chairs light brown we get them professionally cleaned. I also used it on my kitchen rugs that can't be machine washed. I really like hoe it brought back the blue in the rugs. They stayed a little more wet but thats because i used a lot more cleaner and scrubbed them a lot longer just to get that deep clean. This worked so great that i will keep doing this myself it removed the stains that i tryed using a stain remover alone it pulled it right out. You think that they would stay wet for a long time but the shark pulled all the water out i was left with a damp seat put put them in front of the fan and in 10min they were dry. I also used this on the carpet for high traffic area and it pulled out some of the dirt not as much as it did on the chairs i don't think i scrubbed long enough. i do some car detailing and i have used it it did make a difference in the color and the smell. I didn't put in pictures of the car because the carpet was black so you would see the full results. Overall this has been a great pick up it has paided for itself just by cleaning the chairs and kitchen rugs brought them back to the color.

    Strong suction

Posted by Mr. Scott Williams on Nov 11th 2024

Works well. Suction is pretty strong for a ~$100 wet vacuum. First thing I did was test is on some canvas shoes and it wasn’t perfect but they were visibly cleaner.

    Space Saving Cleaner

Posted by Jesse Carter on Nov 11th 2024

Loving the size of this rug and upholstery cleaner. I’ve used a standard upright unit in the past, and I’ve never had room to store it so it would sit in and get lost in the garage. It was also very heavy and bulky to move up and down stairs, especially when filled with water. I disliked that it was more so for larger cleaning, and didn’t have furniture/upholstery attachments. It would take forever for those areas to dry because it would use a lot more water than was needed for smaller spots, and it was better for taking the entire rug outdoors to clean and not really for smaller messes. This is where this smaller but mighty machine chimes in. It’s fabulous for those smaller messes. We have two kids, and if you have children, you know there’s always a spill or mess around the corner. This has helped to clean those smaller messes, without the hassle. I’m able to carry this around much easier. Move from one spot to the next with ease. It uses much less water because it’s easier to control the amount used. Easy to store, takes up a much smaller footprint. Its size is perfect and even if I leave it out, it’s so compact you barely notice it. The plug is long, and also easy to store. It comes with two heads. The solutions worked great in conjunction with each other. Ok so what’s the downside? Well yes, it’s much smaller and uses less water for smaller stains and spills and dried on messes. But it also requires you to fill the water tank to its H2O fill line and add some solution to get to its final fill line. Why is that a problem? Well, if I only have one or just a couple very small areas to clean, I’m left with an entire tank of water bc it barely puts a dent in the clean water tank. So now I have a tank of water mixed with solution sitting around not being used. I don’t want to store it with a full tank, but I’m also not going to dump and waste the water solution. I like using hot water to clean so by the time another spill is present the water is cold or just sitting there. I do wish that they had several lines along the tank for when you just need enough water and solution for a quick clean and it not be necessary to fill the entire tank. I’ve cleaned several spots that’s been in a couple rugs and dining chairs for weeks if not months and I’ve barely gone pass the fill lines. I do wish it had a steam option, but it cleans so well that you’ll rarely even think about the lack of steam. And to be honest it probably isn’t needed at all. Overall it’s been a lovely addition to our cleaning arsenal, and I recommend.

    Convenient & Portable Carpet Cleaner

Posted by Leah Strickland on Nov 5th 2024

The Shark StainStriker Portable Carpet & Upolstrery Cleaner has proven to be a convenient and effecient addition to my cleaning arsenal. It is a handy tool for quick clean ups that surpass that hassle of lugging out the large carpet cleaning marchine. One of the standout features is the portability. It is small and lightweight and incredibly easy to maneuver, making it perfect for spot cleaning carpets nad upolstery. It is easy to get out - do the job and put back up without it being a big deal. The StainStiker's clenaing performance is genrally good for most common spills and stains. It seems to handle everyday dirt and stains pretty well - although I did have an issue getting up and area of dog urine that had been cleaned with a spray bottle and didn't fully come out. While it did improve the situaltion, it didn't entirely elimiate the stain. On the other hand, I used it on a soda spill in my office that the clenaing people never cleaned and it came right up. The machine was very easy to assemble and use. You have to use a dual activated solution from Shark. That is one concern I have with the machine. It has you put the entire bottle of one of the mixes in there and then you mix the second mix with water. Since this is a spot treatment - I did not use the entire amount and now the maching is sitting with the mixture in in. That concerns me about potential mold and bacterial growth. If I empty it out - I just wasted the entire bottle of cleaner. Once you use the machine it is very easy to empy the dirty water, clean and store for the next use. It comes with the machine, an integrted crevice tool, 3.5" reversible bristle tool, pet tool, hose clean tool, 60z deep clean pro formula and 12oz Oxy Muyltiplier formula.

    Won’t regret this purchase!

Posted by Scott Navarro on Oct 31st 2024

Completely shocked at what it picked up off my couch. My couch looked very clean, but this thing had me feeling gross after. Super easy to set up and use- I also love that the bristles have a normal side and then silicone side- which is way more sanitary and easy to clean. The solution also smells amazing. Very happy I went with those over a Bissell (I had a handheld one of theirs before and it was hard to clean, leaked, and kinda just sucked.. or lack there of).

    Perfect For Small Jobs

Posted by Jeffrey Chavez on Oct 15th 2024

It’s a great little stain vacuum and super convenient. It is definitely useful for quick cleanups and old soiled carpet. If thinking more for automotive and frequent usage, I would look for a more dedicated product for two reasons: 1) the design of the wand attachment 2) the collecting bin size The water tank to the concentrate line holds 26oz. However, the collecting bin is only about 10oz. That compartment houses the float for the auto shutoff and that takes up quite a bit of space, so it fills up a lot quicker. I was still able to clean about 5 stains before it filled up. The picture shows how much is used until it hits the shut-off. The wand attachment…this is a two-fold issue as the 7” Tool (not sure where they get that measurement from) snaps on to the handle, but also has the clear piece on the top where the liquid is extracted, it is removable. This is nice for cleaning the tool, but during use it wants to snap off, so you have to apply extra pressure on top of the tool when pushing into the fabric being cleaned. This is also needed as the tool wants to pop off at the attach point to the wand. You have to push down pretty good to get the proper extraction or you will leave too much liquid in the carpet/upholstery. My two test use cases were recently dried wall paint in carpet and in my vehicle. For the vehicle less than 24 hours old DollyWood Sweet Bread oil/sugar grease in the vehicle upholstery and then some mystery stain on passenger seat at shoulder for more than 2 years (failed to get before pic on this one) Dried Paint in Carpet = barely fail Vehicle Oil/Sugar grease =barely fail Vehicle Mystery Stain = WIN! I used both included solutions to clean in all of the tests. Both of the barely fails really just need a more powerful scrubber and maybe even less dilution of the cleaning concentrate and actual powered brush and I figured this would be the case. But it did clean some of it, so that is why it wasn’t a total fail. The included rubber attachment scrubber while nice is best for simply cleaning that has not yet had the opportunity to dry or stain yet. I did not use the scrubber on the mystery stain as I could see that just wetting the affected areas already began to dilute whatever the stain was. I am definitely satisfied with the product, but if you are thinking of auto-detailing on a consistent basis and more than your household fleet, I would look for a more dedicated product. The included pet attachment for collecting “liquids” that come out of them I have not had the opportunity (thankfully) to use yet. The only issue I see with this is like most devices that come with a good amount of accessories, is where to store it? The vaccum itself is not very big, but there is not a place on the device to attach the Pet Attachment or the hose cleaning attachment, which you definitely don’t want to use as it makes cleaning the vacuum hose very easy. The hose storage is also quite tight. My guess is the same instrument they used to measure the 7” Tool was used to measure the circumference of the device and/or the length of the vacuum hose, as it is about 3in too short and makes sliding the Wand Tool on to the latch when storing away very tight. There are definitely a few things I think version 2.0 could improve on, but as-is it will definitely get the job done based off the Info-mercial of a box and its claims. I can definitely recommend it and I definitely plan on using it to now clean the spilled Dr.P in my truck as well as finishing the DollyWood gooey sauce. I did dock a couple stars for the issues with the wand attachments, short hose/design, and the collecting tank being so small.

WOW – YUCK – WOW – GREAT CLEANING - TONS OF DIRT

Posted by Yolanda Carroll on Oct 6th 2024

PRODUCT SHARK STAINSTRIKER PORTABLE CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANER - SPOT, STAIN, & ODOR ELIMINATOR - WHITE WOW – YUCK – WOW – GREAT CLEANING PICKS UP TONS OF DIRT Our first test of the Shark StainStiker was amazing. We have a window seat with a custom cover built in, that can’t easily be removed. For the past 1.5 years our dogs (puppies) have decided this is their day bed. So rain / mud / snow or shine this is where they hang out to chill and nap. It was looking a little dingy. We did not know how dirty it really was until we cleaned it with the Shark StainStriker. It looks like new after a deep cleaning with the StainStiker. The StainStriker was well packaged and easy to assemble. The quick start guide was actually useful and complete enough that we did not need anything else. Just follow the quick start guide to put water and fluids in their proper places, and you are good to go. The bench we cleaned is roughly 6x3 feet. We used about ½ the water+cleaner tank and about ¼ of the OKY boost fluid. So by inference, I think you should be able to deep clean about 80-100 SQ FT with the included starter bottles. By deep clean I mean thoroughly soaking and retreating several areas. Next we plan to tackle the “DOG JEEP” used to transport the dogs to/from muddy parks. After using it, you definitely want to clean the hose and wastewater bin. Cleanup was pretty easy, just remove the cap on the tool attached and fill the hose with water then rinse it out. To clean the wastewater bin, just remove the cover and rinse it really well. PRO’s -

    Work Saver

The Shark StainStriker TM Portable Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner is amazing. It is definitely portable making it easy to use anywhere, especially on carpeted steps. It can store very easily as it doesn't take up much space. It was very easy to set up to get ready to use. It was just as easy to breakdown and clean. In fact, it has a nifty gadget that helps you clean the hose which has been an issue for me with other carpet cleaners. The tanks are easy to fill and just as easy dump out. The pet attachment has a great feature in that it has a small, separate tank so that if you are cleaning up something like a furball, it will not go through the hose into the main tank but will go into this separate tank so no worries about clogging things up. It worked really well on what remained of a hairball after we picked up main piece. The only thing I didn't care for was where the spray came out on this attachment due to the tank as it was awkward to spray the stain. However, I could get it done. There are a couple of other attachments, one for crevices and then the regular brush attachment. It also comes with the deep cleaning forumla as well as the Oxy formula. Best of all, it got the carpets clean without a lot of elbow grease. I definitely recommend this product.

    Great Compact Cleaner

Posted by Dana Morse on Sep 30th 2024

This Shark StainStriker is nice and small and so simple. Very lightweight, easy to assemble and the instructions are very straightforward. For me, I only had to scrub stains, so that is my review. I focused where my entry walk way is. I will have to get a rug but this was a great spot to to use the stain striker. I used the 3.5 hand tool, with the reversible bristles. It took me maybe around 4 min max overall as I scrubbed, but right away you can see quick results. See pics. Now I did have to scrub over the area a few times so u do use almost half the solution. The solution tank is small which isn’t a huge negative but if you have a lot of stains, then you will be refilling quickly, as well as with the water tank but it’s very simple to refill. The StainStriker is a great tool to have and I am completely satisfied with the result. The compact size makes it less of an hassle to use in your car. It’s loud, but not disturbing so if you live in an apartment building just use during business hours.
