5 EFFORTLESS FLOOR CLEANING SOLUTION!!!
Posted by Melinda Smith on Dec 12th 2024
The Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry is a must have for anyone seeking a deep, efficient clean without breaking your back. This wonder effortlessly glides across hard floors, picking up dirt, grime, and even sticky messes effortlessly. So, let’s go over some of the features of the new Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry. SPECIFICATIONS: WET/DRY VACCUM WEIGHT: 9.5 LBS CLEANING WIDTH: 9.2 INCHES FLOOR TYPES: HARDWOOD, BARE FLOOR, LAMITE, TILE, ENGINEERED WOOD RUNTIME: 35 MINUTES THE UNIT COMES WITH AN EXTRA ROLLER AND FILTER CORDLESS DESIGN: First and foremost, the cordless design offers incredible convenience. No more tripping over cords or searching for outlets, just grab and go! The battery life is impressive, providing up to 35 minutes of cleaning time. I was able to wash our whole first floor, about 900 sq feet of space on max settings with about 50 percent of the battery remaining. Not bad at all!!! FLASHDRY: The first thing I want to mention is that this is a bit misleading when you read the advertisement. When I first read the advertisement, I was under the assumption that the machine would also dry your floors as well once you mop but that is not the case. The Flashdry feature has to do with the cleaning and drying of the roller, which is about a 10 min process from start to finish. The self-cleaning feature of this unit cleans the roller which takes about 5 minutes and then completely dries the roller which takes another 5 minutes, and you are ready to clean again anywhere in your home. I will mention that the unit does get a bit loud during the self-cleaning cycle, but does a great job cleaning up the roller and getting all the gunk out of the machine. PERFORMANCE: I must say that this is where this vacuum cleaner shines. The unit has 3 modes, Suction, Auto and Maximum. The suction feature is if you just want to vacuum an area rug or your floor without any water or cleaning solution, the auto feature automatically adjusts your suction and the water level according to the mess that you are dealing with. Lastly, the Maximum setting uses the most amount of water, suction and battery. I tested out the unit on all three settings and I preferred the maximum setting, which left almost little to no water on the floors. The other great feature of this unit is the edge-to-edge cleaning. I have another machine similar to this one but does not get anywhere as near to the edge as the Tineco. This unit is also self-propelled so there is almost no effort put into cleaning your floors. There also an app available for this unit which allows you to change the settings from water only to water with along with the cleaning solution, shows you the battery information, access to self-cleaning features and most importantly the firmware/software updates. Overall, the Tineco Floor Washer Flashdry Cordless has exceeded my expectations. It’s a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly cleaning tool that has made maintaining a clean home so much easier. I could not find anything on the machine that I was not happy with If you are in the market for a new floor washer, I would highly recommend giving this machine a try.

5 Sturdy, deep clean
Posted by Lisa Mccarthy on Dec 5th 2024
This vacuum has opened my eyes to what mopping use to be. This vacuum makes those deep clean days a breeze for a variety of reasons. These reasons include, portability, build and ease of maintenance. First and foremost this Vacuum does provide the deep clean that is mentioned in the description. The scrubbing tool that does the work is, what looks like a paint roller. It rotates and really does a nice job scrubbing up wet (or dry) messes. The reservoir inside holds an adequate amount of water and cleaning fluid too which minimizes the amount of need to refill and resume. The build of this is sturdier than i had expected too. This plastic charging base is solid and does not give me cheap vibes and the vacuum it self is rugged and seems to be able to take a spill if needed. The battery on this vacuum is said to charge to 100% in 4-5 hours which is the amount I expected and did not die on my while cleaning my main level of my home. Lasty the cleaning and maintenance of this vacuum is amazing. The reservoir and link/solid waste trap pops out in a snap and can easily be cleaned under water. There is annoyance of taking the entire vacuum apart to one hidden lint trap. All in all, if you need a ruggedly build vacuum and is portable and easy to clean and upkeep then this is strong recommendation for your needs.

5 Does a great job at maintaining clean floor
Posted by Paul Edwards on Nov 26th 2024
Tineco has been making floor cleaners since 1998, and been busy at work trying to bring as many features as possible to their line of quality vacuums and washers. The Flashdry vacuum is a great choice for virtually any non-carpeted floor in your home. Even though this is marketed as a wet/dry vacuum it is not recommended to use this without water/solution in the system as it can lead to mechanical issues. Because of it's design it is also not recommended to try to vacuum up large chunks of debris on your floor, like paperclips or shreds of paper and such. Which, these are all things that you would normally pickup by hand while using a regular vacuum cleaner anyway. The vacuum works great for spilt cereal, small snacks, and general dirt tracked inside from shoes. Because of the thickness of the roller and the way the vacuum pulls debris from it, almost none of the stuff getting vacuumed up gets thrown around or pushed away, which can easily happen with other types of dry vacuums. The best part of this design is that it uses edge to edge technology for better cleaning along the edges of walls. Plus the cleaning head is low enough to fit under our fridge door and cupboards. The unit is a little over 20lbs and is somewhat compact so it doesn't take up too much space where ever you decide to store it. The unit has a led display clearly placed at the top of the main section for easy viewing during use. The vacuum also has voice cues to indicate what mode you are in, or additional instructions. The volume and language can be changed by the button on the back of the handle above the speakers.(this can also be changed on the app) The power and mode buttons are on the front of the handle. As soon as you power the unit on it's ready to go. Just tilt the handle downward in the vacuuming position and the motor kicks in. You can feel the vacuum pulling you forward right away. If you are not ready to move yet, simply pull it back towards you, or return the handle upright. It defaults to "Auto" mode, here it will auto sense how dirty an area is and then try to adjust the roller, solution, and suction used. The glowing ring around the LED display will change to red if it senses a dirty area, and then blend back to green once it is clean. You can manually select the "Max" mode for spots that you feel need extra attention, or the "Suction" mode to try to dry wetter areas. The display will indicate when the water/solution tanks need to be filled or emptied with the appropriate icon. This will also constantly show the unit's battery life and floor cleanliness. Tineco uses it's proprietary term "iloop" to detect debris. It is unclear exactly what technology is being used hereto determine the amount of debris, but so far it seems to be pretty accurate. A lot of other machines use Piezoelectric sensors to measure resistance and detect different electrical impulses of the incoming air or water flow. I called Tineco, but they were unable to offer me any specifics about what sensors are being used. I even scoured the internet with no answers to be found. While the vacuum roller does great at picking up loose debris, both solid and liquid. It does struggle a little bit with stuck on dried goop. A dried spot of jelly took me a few minutes to get up. A good portion of it was removed within the first couple passes, but I had to let the rest of it soak for a bit before it was completely removed. I did have a few stubborn spots of gunk on the floor that I actually needed to get down to and scrub a bit for them to come up, but with that amount of effort, I don't think probably any floor cleaner would have gotten it on its own. They also mention not to use other solutions in the water tank but Tineco's because it might impede the actual performance based on the amount of surfactants, enzymes and foaminess. It is also not recommended to vacuum up other sudsy cleaners used on the floor for harder stains, as their foam could interfere with the suction to the dirty water tank. The cleaner can run for about 30 to 40 minutes based on its need to increase power consumption for heavier debris areas. It only takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge the cleaner from dead status. The base for the Flashdry unit not only charges the unit, but also creates an enclosure around the roller to aid in the self cleaning and drying cycle. If used properly and as recommended this floor cleaner will help keep your floors clean and odor free for a long time. I personally love the ease of use for this in our kitchen, which is our highest traffic room. Before this vacuum I used to only wet clean the floor maybe once a month because of the effort involved. I would vacuum every week but I hated getting out the mop. The Flashdry wet vacuum is a dream come true. IT vacuums and wet cleans the floor in the same effort, and does a pretty good job at both. We have 2 cats that add to the kitchen floor debris with their food and water dishes as well. This takes care of everything and doesn't get messed up with the cat hair either. Cleaning the machine is pretty easy with the self cleaning base and pop out waste water tank. The waste water tank has a removable filter and solids separator. The solids can be knocked out into the trash can or wiped out with a napkin, and everything else can be rinsed down the sink. I must say that I actually prefer this way more than taking a bagless vacuum and dumping tons of dust into the trashcan, which ends up recirculating into the air anyway. With this vacuum everything is wet so no more floating dust coming back into the room while emptying it out. So far this vacuum has worked great, It's so easy to use, and the floor dries so quickly after using it that I find myself grabbing for it every day.

5 Tineco does it again with an amazing product!
Posted by Teresa Lopez on Nov 23rd 2024
I have owned plenty of wet mop vacuums and most just do not do the job right and fall flat. Tineco products are always the most intuitive products in the wet vacuum devices in todays market, This device is no exception. Not only does it do a thorough job on my wood floors with various stages of cleaning, it cleans itself with hot water auto cleaning after I am done, making sure the mop head is clean and system is free of debris. The cordless design is incredible, I can move freely around the house without worrying about tangled cords or searching for outlets. The battery life is impressive, allowing me to clean multiple rooms on a single charge. The Flashdry feature is a standout. Floors dry remarkably fast after washing, which means no more waiting around or worrying about wet footprints. It’s perfect for high-traffic areas or quick cleanups before guests arrive. This floor washer tackles dirt, spills, and stains with ease. The suction power is strong, ensuring a thorough clean every time. My floors have never looked better, and it works wonders on both hardwood and tile. Cleaning the device itself is a breeze. The parts are easy to detach, rinse, and reassemble. Plus, the water tank is large, so I don’t have to refill it constantly. Overall, the Tineco FloorWasher is an outstanding product that delivers on its promises. It’s efficient, powerful, a must-have for anyone looking to keep their floors spotless with minimal effort.

4 Good Self Cleaning Mop Vac and Close Edge Cleaning
Posted by Eric Mcgee on Nov 22nd 2024
This is my second self-cleaning, quick-drying, mop vacuum, and I was looking forward to testing the Tineco FloorWasher Flashdry Series 6 against my older model. The setup was easy and ready to clean after waiting for the mop vacuum to fully charge. The water tank looked awkward, but it was cleverly designed for easy filling in the sink. The first setting I tried was the Max Mode, which went through two and one-half tanks of water (and dirty water tank dumps) within about 8 minutes. The edge cleaning was the closes I have seen at about one-fourth of an inch (see photo). After my first use on Max Mode, the battery was less than the 15 % required to perform the self-cleaning, so I had to wait for the charge to be sufficient. I thought the Tineco mopvac did a superb job at cleaning and drying the roller, but did leave a little dirt under the brush-roller cover. I could not believe that the roller was soft and dry within 5 minutes. For the second use, I tried using the Auto Mode and found the mopvac used only 2 tanks of water and was able to run for about 30 minutes with just enough charge to perform the self-cleaning. I wished there were a steam mode available since I attempted to clean a few difficult spots where this type of option would have made the task quicker. Pros Close edge cleaning (both side) Quickly dries roller during self-cleaning Clean water tank designed for easy fill Very good self-cleaning with exception of brush-roller cover Voice prompts loud and clear Cons Short battery life Self-clean won’t work until battery is greater than 15% No steam mode Depending on what options you need and how long the battery needs to last, this is definitely a mop vac to consider. What sets this apart from the competitors is the close edge cleaning ability and great self-cleaning.

5 Great way to sanitize your floors
Posted by Zachary Gutierrez on Nov 20th 2024
This is my second floor cleaner/sanitizer. I feel as though one's floors can never be TOO clean! We like to walk barefoot in my house and I don't want dirty feet. One real benefit with this model is the accompanying app. It really gives you a LOT of information and control. You can mute the "voice" that tells you what the machine is doing or you can have the voice on and adjust the volume. You can check the charging status, dirty and clean water tanks and run the cleaning cycle all from the app. One thing that is not so great- When I take the dirty water tank off to dump in the toilet (it is really gross and you do NOT want it in your sink), it drips while I walk to the bathroom. I will need to bring the machine closer to the dumping location to avoid messes that I will just need to turn around and clean up with the machine. Tineco has you use a proprietary cleaning solution but the good news is, you only use a capful per clean water tank so the provided bottle should last a long time. A refill costs between $20-$25. I do like the self-propelling of the machine. It glides easily without pulling too hard. Unlike my other model, the buttons on this are simple- there are just 2- power and a second one that adjusts the mode. All other adjustments are made through the app. I prefer this as I am not pushing buttons and trying to get to different settings. Another small downside- Between the base and the angle of the machine when charging, it sits out from the wall a bit more than I would like. When not in use, I prefer it to set further back and out of the way. Overall, this is a great floor cleaner that is easy to use.

5 Absolutely amazing! Love It!
Posted by Emily Burnett on Nov 12th 2024
I used the Tineco Floorwasher on the kitchen floor. The house is in a forest environment and little rocks and pine needles are constantly tracked into the house. The kitchen is close to the door we go in and out of, so it gets a lot of these little guys. I was amazed that the Tineco Floorwasher picked up every one of those little pine needles and little rocks. It picked up everything else on the kitchen floor as well. Left the floor with a nice bit of shine. I saw little gold flecks on the tile when I was done and on closer examination, I realized they were part of the tile, I just hadn’t noticed them! See them now very clearly! There was a bit of tar and that wasn’t removed but a paper towel took care of that after the cleaning solution and water had loosened it up. The rest of the house has a laminate wood flooring that is water resistant and made for traffic. The Tineco Floowasher cleaned this just as well and got all those pine needles. This is my new floor cleaning tool. No more vacuuming and then mopping. One pass and both are done with the Tineco. When I unpackaged the floorwasher I was surprised the only thing that had to be put together was inserting the handle. Everything else is already put together all you do is charge 4 – 5 hours, add water and cleaner (comes with) and you are ready to clean. The manual says it will run for 35 minutes. My kitchen is small, so I was done long before the charge ran out. It does come with an extra roller and filter. Keep the manual handy, in six months you’ll need to review to change the roller. Love that it doesn’t require complicated directions to put together or use. It does have an app but it works great without it. When done, pop onto the charging station so it’s ready to go again when needed. Yes, Yes, Yes I highly recommend this one!

5 Tineco s6 - must buy
Posted by Robert Morales on Nov 7th 2024
Few month ago I bought the shark hydro vac but I was not fully satisfied with it. I decided to give up my shark hydro vac and go with Tineco s6 and I couldn’t be happier . Easy to use with top notch self cleaning mode. The box came with 2 filters and 2 rollers which help when you drying the wet pair after use. 5 star!

5 Amazingly useful device we didn’t know we needed
Posted by Sara Clark on Oct 21st 2024
After years of using disposable wipes on swiffer-style mops, including wet ones, I figured there had to be a better option. We also have fairly new pre-finished hardwoods that we’ve only felt comfortable using water on to clean. That said, cleaning the entire floor would be nearly impossible by hand, so we largely vacuumed it for years. Enter this beautifully designed Tineco floor washer. I hadn’t heard of their brand before discovering this product, but the more I read up on them, the more I became convinced that they’ve been in this space for a long time, having designed most of the products in this category and undoubtedly learning and improving these machines a lot, over time. It shows, the machine just feels very well designed and considered. From the charging base to the button placement, everything works well and aesthetically it’s very professional and modern. __DESIGN & USE__ More on the design. The black and white color scheme looks great, with smooth curves and intentional design choices. By design, it’s complex, able to provide water, monitor how much it’s providing to the floor, and then suck it back out of the rollers and into a separate container. It connects to the Tineco app, largely for settings changes (more on that below) and in this model, has a charging dock that cleans and dries the brush head after use - definitely saving time. Everything you might want to clean is easily accessible, including the roller, which slides out with a flip out pull. - Handy! Auto mode worked fantastically on all of our surfaces. So well, in fact, that we felt confident using it on our pre-finished wood floor (as mentioned above.) Its soft roller seems gentle and It only leaves a small trace of moisture that quickly evaporated over 5-10 minutes. It’s a complete game-changer for us. While we will likely continue to use a traditional stick vacuum for most daily cleaning, our Tineco is essential for getting floors fully clean - Dirt, grease or oils, that you may not see, but build up on surfaces. And for tile, it’s completely replaced our disposable sweepers and wet pads. The display on the machine is fairly basic, but gets the job done. But my biggest (and only real) gripe is the voice that announces various states of the machine, like charging or starting, is very loud and from a lesser quality speaker. Luckily, you can turn it off within settings, which I did immediately. Now it’s silent - which is 100 times better. The self-cleaning cycle also took longer than I expected, about 8-10 minutes. While the machine is very quiet in use, the self-charging process in the dock is a bit louder, so keep that in mind. __MAINTENANCE__ Since water is involved, I was curious about just how much work it would be to maintain. We own an upholstery cleaner that acts in much the same way - and cleaning this floor washer’s components is very similar. In exchange for its awesome ability to truly clean floors, you will need to clean the dirty water tanks’ components after each use (unless you don’t mind stinky water). I’m completely fine with this, water is just this way. You have to take care to clean and dry things out. A ‘dry’ debris area within this tank collects pet fur and other larger things for removal. Luckily, the base does a great job of reducing the maintenance steps by taking care of the rollers. In my experience, the roller came out of the self-cleaning cycle almost entirely dry. I still chose to remove the roller and let things air out, but that’s all. Most of my effort was in cleaning the dirty water tank and airing out the fresh water tank. - Not bad. __OVERALL__ We were wowed by this device. We went years without realizing just how dirty our clean-looking floors were getting. And while it requires a minimum of cleaning the dirty water components after each use, it’s well worth it. The self-cleaning mode saves time, and now that we’ve used it (and a floor washer like this), I don’t think we’d want to live without one. The machine itself impressed us with its well-considered design and usability. I highly recommend it!
