5 Never disappointed always satisfied.
Posted by Eric Barnes on Nov 1st 2024
Oh .an where should i begin. I was in the narket for a new refridgerator. Something small matching the plain white refurbished refrigerator that my landlord had provided for us. Lo and behold i ventured into one of my favorite if not my main source for all things electroinc and beyond. So i get into this location not really expecring to het such a great deal on such an awesome product. I was blown awaw completly by the price for such a high end product. My only disappointment was having to wait a week for it to be delivered. At the time i really wished that i could bave gotten it that same day. Needless to say all good things comes to those who wait and are patient. Fasforward to delivery day. I must this has to be said bestbuy alwwys sets the bar high. Great service once again. Thats why i would be forever biased and I would always go to them first and foremost when it comes to anything electronic. Even if its as something as small as a triplle a battery.

4 Nice refrigerator but missing parts
Posted by Steven Rios on Oct 28th 2024
I have called Whirlpool 2 times to get the 2 small white caps to cover the 2 metal screws which hold the handles on the freezer and refrigerator doors. They were missing when it was delivered and the wrong parts were sent when I requested them from Whirlpool. Other than this frustrating experience, the refrigerator is quiet, well designed and attractive and we are enjoying it. It has been a pleasure to deal with and I hope they help us to get the missing parts.

5 Classic But Good
Posted by Jessica Lane on Oct 17th 2024
Classic design, but plenty of space and shelf adjustability. Lots of options of where to put gallon sized beverages. Does what its supposed to do as far as chilling. The only thing I'd change is the shelves do not go all they way to the back and there is a small gap. We sometimes have packages of things fall to the the shelf below. It is rare, but happens. I like the light in the freezer. The light in the fridge isn't too bright and depending on what you are storing below the light, the lower shelves can be dark. The crisper drawers glide in and out very easily.

4 Poor door shelf design.
Posted by Michael Butler on Oct 15th 2024
As others have pointed out, there is a too wide gap between the door shelf and the side guard. This allows many items to fall through the gap and fall out. We had to buy plastic containers to place on the shelves to hold smaller items. The top location of the light allows the beams to be blocked out by items on the shelves, resulting in shadows on lower shelves.

4 Overpriced
Posted by Jonathan Simmons on Oct 10th 2024
This was purchased to replace a 26 year old Kenmore/Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator. After many hours of shopping across multiple vendor product lines the conclusion reached is NOTHING is made like they used to be. Gone are the split cantilever shelfs, heavy duty crispers, and spacious meat deli draw. All vendors have to gone to full width glass shelves which limits flexibility and reduces storage space. I also looked at side by side models in the same cubic footage size and found them to just be TOO small, most especially the freezer section. They are all made cheaply with as much emphasis on cost cutting as possible. With all of that said I decided on this model because it is the highest tier model in the top freezer lineup, and I liked the large freezer and refrigerator, lighting in both freezer and refrigerator, and thicker heavier duty doors. Overhaul quality is just plain cheaper than it’s siblings of yesteryear! In operation the unit is virtually silent, maintains a 33-35F refrigerator on shut off and -7F freezer with the factory default settings. I find the LED refrigerator lighting too dim for my liking. I added the optional ice maker which works perfectly and knocks out ice every couple of hours. I found no gross manufacturing defects, no leaky gaskets, with an exterior that is finished quit nicely. The interior crispers are cheap plastic as well as the doors shelves. At this price point and another 100 bucks or so for an icemaker suggest the unit is grossly overpriced topping $1200. I just don’t think the plastic door shelves are going to hold up to the rigors of everyday use and honestly at this price point I would expect an upscale interior. So far it seems like it’s a good cold refrigerator that looks nice and while being cheaply made by todays standards Whirlpool has been making refrigerators for long time. I have come to expect years of reliable refrigeration. I have an old 1977 top freezer/frig in my basement 45 years old and it runs like a top! The Kenmore I replaced was 26 years old. I suppose by todays standards if I get 10 years out of this one, that would be something

4 OK, But Wouldn't Buy Again
Posted by Kenneth Robinson on Oct 8th 2024
Dent on the lower front part of the door, I got a fourty dollar coupon to use at Best Buy, I am guessing this is why, no explanation. The lower part of the refrigerator door handle pops out when you open up the door. I don't know how to fix it, I'm waiting for the handle to break off in my hand. The shelves will literally bow under any weight, for instance a bowl of leftovers, you can see the shelving sag. On the up side, there is plenty of space, the door shelves are handy, the freezer has lots of room.

4 Great affordable quality fridge!
Posted by James Hernandez on Oct 5th 2024
We are happy with our fridge that we got a few months ago. It’s nothing fancy, bare bones without the extra features fridges come with these days. But I love having plenty of shelf options, lots of space in fridge and freezer, and it’s easy to clean. Happy with our purchase!

Just the right size for our space. Plenty of room inside, especially the freezer. Matches all our other appliances perfectly. Excellent delivery and installation.
