    A so-so wine cooler

Posted by Ashley Flores on Dec 11th 2024

I gets the job done. That is it cools the wine and works well, but even regular size wine bottles are exceptionally tight fitting. I drink a lot of Meiomi Pinot Noir. It comes in a very standard 750ml wine bottle. Unfortunately, when I pull out a drawer, the bottles rub on the rack above. In fact, it is so tight, I have to put the bottles in so that none of the paper is up. Otherwise, when I open the drawer, it catches on the wine label and pulls it off. I would think they would allow at least a 1/16th of 1/8th inch clearance, but they don't. Also, the drawers are very hard to pull out even when they are empty, and worse yet, you have to make sure the door is wide open or the drawer will catch on the edge of the door when pulling it out or pushing it back in. Whirlpool needs to rethink their design of this wine cooler.

    Great Wine Cooler

This wine cooler works great so far. Love the look of it! It fits a lot of bottles and there’s room on the last shelf for larger bottles.

    Best buy on the market!

Posted by Dominique Ray on Nov 22nd 2024

We were replacing two older, less expensive units that had both died within a month of each other. We have the very expensive "sister" to these in our summer home but wanted something less expensive. Made by the same people ... these units are fantastic! They cost much less, very well built, and most importantly ... quiet! Would buy them again

Looks good, but a little noisy

Posted by Billy Jones on Nov 10th 2024

Bought this as a floor model, so for the price I paid I can't complain. It's a perfect size for my condo, and I actually like that you cannot see a brand name on the front, so that it's not out of place with my other appliances. The only drawback is that it seems rather noisy at times, and during one of it's cycles, it almost sounded like it was struggling for a little bit. Not what should be happening with a unit that was on display a few weeks. Other than that, it's a decent unit, and serves it's purpose.

    Excellent product.

This wine cooler only allows for one area to be temperature-controlled but it does that very well. It is a stylish product with very interesting lighting - kinda blue neon. The only change I would wish for is that the legs could be adjusted shorter - I had difficulty installing the cooler because my new floor added 1/2 inch of height.

    Cool Wine keeper

Posted by Sarah Schwartz on Nov 8th 2024

Great cooler ! Much better than the “high end “ unit it replaced . It’s quieter with a much better shelf layout and ease of operation. Led lighting another plus.great unit for the cost. Only negative you must open the door to see the led temp reading. It looks so cool why hide it ? Single zone not a problem, just arrange bottles high to low for proper temp. Plus less parts to wear out than a dual zone unit ! Very satisfied

    Replaced Wine Refrigerator

Posted by Jennifer Hernandez on Oct 30th 2024

Great under the cabinet wine refrigerator. Easy to install removed the 4 plastic feet, added 4 felt pads & it slid in easily under the cabinet, just had to plug in. Nice sleek glass door, sturdy handle, cool Blue light inside & it’s very quiet. 1 temp setting. Very nicely made. Very happy with the unit cheers!

    Meets my needs!

It's not the top of the line wine fridge but it fit my needs perfectly for going under my kitchen island. I like the lighting when you open the door as well.

    Good, with some gripes…

Posted by Betty Phillips on Oct 22nd 2024

We installed this unit under a cabinet and we’re very pleased with how it turned out. The build quality is good, it looks great, and it holds quite a bit of wine. With that said, it requires some effort to get bottles to fit optimally. If you enjoy puzzles, then you’ll be fine wiggling bottles into vacant spaces until they fit properly. Once you’ve figured that out, you may find that drawers don’t open without catching on larger bottles of wine. With a little finesse, however, the drawers slide out without damage. One other gripe: I installed a temperature and humidity sensor that interfaces with Apple HomeKit. Tracking values over time, I’m a bit concerned about how high the humidity gets in this fridge. The temperature is fairly consistent, fluctuating only 1 to 2 degrees of my set temp, but humidity spikes whenever the compressor turns on to bring down the temp. Check out the attached screenshot from the sensor manufacturer’s app.
